First impressions are every thing. Well, at least that’s what I’ve been told. Make a lasting impression I’ll be remembered by and I’ll influence all the right people for all the right reasons. Sounds so BLACK and WHITE. While I may be simple at times, I’m not stupid. There is so much to it than that.
Life is not black and white. Life is full of GREY area that no one can teach you in school. No one can explain it in a video or write it out in an article. No one will leave this earth with the tagline “I taught people the vagueness of grey area.” However, the real issue lies in the fact that our whole life is made up of what we call ‘grey area.’ The only thing that is black is when you close your eyes and the lights go out. The only thing white is the purity of light. Its what you do in the middle that counts.
When to going gets tough the tough get going right? Yeah, whatever. I could easily be crowed the queen of motivational quotes. I love reading them and posting them to social media…but then what? I read them. I didn’t apply them to my life. Do you ever find yourself doing the same type of thing? Well, follow along then…
If wasn’t too long ago, I found myself jobless, pregnant and still trying to attain what seemed like unreachable goals in my personal life. I was breaking horses and trying to compete at higher and higher levels, I was breeding dogs for my side hustle and the love of puppies of course! Of course above all, I was trying to turn my 8-5 crap job that I did have at one time into one of my side hustles instead…you know pursuing that good ‘ol entrepreneurship gig.
I turned to “motivational speakers” and all my “motivational quotes” to lift my spirits. It didn’t take too long before I realized that I didn’t need any of that, I needed someone to lay out the truth and reset my passion for life. I’m sure there are a few people who can relate when I tell you, no one tells you like it is like mama. My family is raw and real. We cuss at one another now and then but we also have each others back when the going gets tough.
Join my journey from the so called “undesirable bottom” to the sometimes unforeseeable top. Be interesting in your own journey and just maybe, you will gain ground in your journey to living your best life! Now let’s get gritty shall we?
I have no special certifications. I’m no expert in the human brain and how it works. I do understand that 2+2=4 but in life, things are just not that black and white. What is the ‘plus’ in your equation? What do you want your life to ‘equal’ in the end? Lets review the facts, mend broken fences and face the fear of change. Its time to take life by the horns, wrestle the bull and tame the him. After all, nothing will make you more grateful in the end than taming the inner beast.
This will be a testament to my grey area and helping anyone along the way that struggles with getting through their grey times. I’ll give it to you straight because sugar coating is for candy and babies. Real talk and self analysis is where it all begins. If you want to dig deep into your webbed thoughts and find that gritty side that has the gumption to do something in life; lets talk.
Peace out, friends
